Meet Our Founder
Kangwa Antoinette Kasonde is currently working for First Quantum Mine-Kansanshi and an MBA candidate at Heriot Watt University, Edinburg Business School in the United Kingdom. With a passion for technology, environmental sustainability and renewable energy solution She is the founder of a 2024 Power Africa Green Energy award winning start-up called Afrinology Tech trading as afrinology.com which is Tech AI, energy, Transport and ecommerce business. Kangwa began her journey in the environmental sector, working on various projects aimed at conserving resources. She worked on projects such as the Chongololo and Chipembele Conservation program and UNICEF project Unite for Climate and conservation in 2019 and 2020 where she trained Climate ambassadors under WECSZ impacting over 1000 children in Zambia with environmental education skills and environmental magazine. Other projects of interests have been in supporting women’s rights such as leading a youth leadership project that supported women in agriculture which was recognised by the ministry of agriculture and because of her impact she was selected as a Zambian entrepreneur delegate to Egypt under the Egyptian Women Council in 2021 and for the Swedish land management program ITP project in land valuation and taxation by Lantmateriet, the Swedish mapping, cadastral and land registration authority. Beyond her professional endeavours Kasonde remains actively involved in humanitarian activities and leadership through advocacy and community outreach, promoting awareness and Technology education.
